Anti-aging creams increase the cancer's risk
Scientists' researches show that
anti-wrinkle creams that are used by millions of people around the world
increase the risk of skin cancer. Many of these products that claim to diminish
the dark spots and wrinkles form, in fact, remove the protective layers of
facial skin and thus facial skin are vulnerable against sunlight's damage.
Doctor Sam Epstein, the spokesman of America's cancer prevention said:
compounds called alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), which is found in many cosmetic
products and creams, probably is one of most dangerous chemicals that are used
in these products. Many women with the notion that aging is only hurdle that
must combat with it, they consume these products with complete confidence that
they will be saved with the help of these creams from aging. This is while that
the Food and Drug Administration of America recently warned AHA ingredients
that is in these products may damage the surface layer of the skin is pink, so,
in some cases, cause burns, swelling and pain. These products not only make
highly vulnerable the skin against the sunlight, but also causes to toxic
substances to find their way easily into the pores of the skin. So when a
person uses these products, if expose without observing protection such as
sunscreen in the sun, to be able to expose themselves to the risk of skin
cancer. Britons spend nearly 673 million dollars to skin care products such as
moisturizer and anti-wrinkle creams.
